They should do what they did in the late 60's.
Sell a stripped, basic F-bod type car for a really low MSRP and a gutless, 260hp V8.
Then have a wealth of GM go fast parts that dealers could install upon delivery of the car if the customer so desired.1999 red camaro v6 M5: with a turbo
13.52@107.99
No, seriously: Who Farted?
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/600086

I was about to buy an 02 v6 at classic chevy in Grapevine for 16,200. All the Z28s were like 28,000.1999 red camaro v6 M5: with a turbo
13.52@107.99
No, seriously: Who Farted?
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/600086

I shopped around for two brand new 2002s, so I know pretty well what they went for.Black 2002 Camaro M5-SS takeoff muffler, B&M Ripper, K&N Filter, 35/20% tint, Infinity speakers, Viper alarm, perpetually breaking clutch return spring mod. 15.49@90.15
Pewter 2002 Firebird M5 (Dad\'s Car)

Also, I think the MSRP for Z28's was around 24k and the MSRP for TA's wwas around 30k.

GTO for me pleaseYour sig is the most important part of your message. Make sure that you list EVERY single thing that you have done to your car so that we can all go \'oooh!\' and \'Ah!\'. Please make your sig consistently longer than anything else you post. Please include your lengthy sig with EVERY single post you make during a reply, even if you only reply with a monosyllable grunt.

3.4 is right, I forgot its the Trans Am. You might have been able to get a firebird formula for slightly more than the Z28 (aren't they usually a little more expensive).
Trans Am was no where near 20k though.. I am guessing the SS wasn't either.Sinister Six©
My \'95 Bird
I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.

To me the Supra was a well built/designed car. The turbo model had an engine built like a tank. 700HP with just a turbo upgrade. The in-line 6 is SOOOOO easy to work on and the car could handle the roads with the best of them. I still keep my eyes out for a Supra but when FF came out it became every ricers dream car and they turned it into a clown car like the honda's. When I see one for sale the damn things always have a double wing and ten different colors splashed all over the body. Big ol Folgers coffee fart can hanging off the back.
Its a shame what ricers do to cars. Let pray they don't go through a classic car fad and wreck every car from the 60's.White 98 Camaro with t-tops leather and Y87. For more info on mods just ask.
1/4=14.9
2002 Xterra V6 A4
