    400hp 383 Stroker + 38.5" Meats + 4 Feet of Snow = .....

    Fun :D

    About 17 (including myself) of our local 4x4 club members went up to fetch Christmas trees yesterday. We found lots of dense, drifted snow, and some really nice trees. The milder rigs stayed down lower where they were getting stuck, built a campfire and cooked some Chili, and the 6 bigger rigs went up higher and found the deeper snow. We went until the 3 biggest rigs (myself, another guy w/ 38's and a 350 in a old Scout, and a 4-Runner with a Vortec 350, Dana 60's & 40" MTR's) got stuck. There we turned around, grabbed our tree and headed back down to get some chili.

      Yup.

      We were up in the mountains.. prolly 5-6000' elevation... maybe higher. Down in town we only have about 6-8" of snow
