James (12secondv6) test drove a new Z06 and said the interior was cheap. Every car mag that I've read has said similar things about the C5 and C6. Sorry, but the interior on a Vette isn't going to touch a Ferrari's. Have you taken a look at the new Bugatti Veyron? The interior in that car is amazing. Aston Martin's styling blows the Vette's out of the water as well.

Glad to see so many F-50 lovers: it's the most beautiful car ever made IMO. Some vouch for the F-40 as the greatest Ferrari, but I don't think so.

BTW: saw a brand new Lotus Elise driving today in Guthrie Oklahoma, of all places. Those cars look much better in person than in pics. Beautiful, amazing cars!

the new z06 is only semi-exotic because of it's interior and price. on the other hand, it looks damn *** good, and has 505hp. as far as interior, i'd be extremely happy with it's HUD.

The F50 may look better than the F40, but the F40 is about as pure as it gets, and can outrun the F50 on nearly any track. That said, the F50 is, and has been since I was probably 8, my favorite car.

The C6s interior is definately a step up from the 'Vettes in the past, but it's still nothing to a 911 or 430.

And the AWD is another thing I don't like on the new Lambos... if the owner is just a rich idiot with no respect for the car, let him crash. There will be more built, and it's his money he's throwing away.

Is that true about the track? The F40 has always been a favorite of mine too. It looks better then the F50 in my opinion, its just not as user friendly with its stripped out interior.

And guys, you get what you pay for. For the money you pay for an Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ferrari, etc... the interior better damn well be luxurious and nicer then a vette selling for 10's or 100's of thousands less.

But people act like you sit on a freaking milkcrate and plywood dashboard.

What next going to ***** that the 2 seater sports car doesn't have much trunkspace?!?!?!

I'm not complaining about it, I'm just saying it's nothing close to those other cars. I actually misread a post and was responding to that...

I think plain is an understatement for the vette. Besides, James is bias. He doesn't like GM.

I've never sat in a C6, but from the pics, the interior looks pretty damn decent. So let me ask someone who has... If you knock on the dash, is it the same material as our F-bodies?

I think the mag's ***** more about choice of material, not style. I say for the price, its a damn nice interior. Unless, that is, the dash is made of the same type material as the rest of the GM line up. Then I can't really blame them and see how they find it a bit, chintzy.

From those pics Thor posted, the 'vettes interior looks the best out of those.

I really like the vette's interior, not saying it's the best ive ever seen, but it fits the vette well i think.
