so i got an intersting problem, i turn on my computer today and the icon for my internet explorer is different looking on both my desktop and in the start menu..
so i go to click on my desktop icon and...it brings up internet options.. not an I.E. window.... i dont know how to fix this as both my shortcuts do this now...
can someone help me please?

System restore. Go to Start, Program Files, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore. Select "Restore My Computer to an Earlier Time". And then pick a date within the last week or so that you know it was right. This wont kill off any personal files you saved or changed, just system settings that changed. Give it a shot.
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
