• I can't believe this ISH!!

I had a long F'in day at work yesterday 2pm-12am, and after work I went to the gym. After heading home, this VW R32 with exhaust and who knows what else, pulls in front of me. I guess he was trying to show off to me cuz he would gun it and then slow down for me to catch up (I wasn't even close to racing him cuz I was tired as all). It turns out he lives in the same apt. complex I do. When the gate opened up, he gunnned it again just to show off, and I was like...whatever. So I park, get outta my car, look down the alley and see him with his friends starrin me down. I'm like, whatever. I wake up to go to target around 12:30ish and open my door and **** is all over my seat, and DUMBASS ME forgot to bring my wallet in, so that was gone as well. Cops and Forensics came, and I'll find out the fingerprint report come Tuesday or so. I'M SOOOO F'IN PISSED! I really think it's one of those guys or the guy in the R32, so I wanna confront him somehow, if the prints don't come up. Any ideas??

And I don't wanna hear...."man, you're stupid for leaving your wallet in your car." My response, yes, I know. NO $HIT! Also, try living in my shoes for a month right now..."

so let me get this straight, if the fingerprints are inconclusive as to who did it or they elminate him, you want to confront him?

nothing like an assault charge to help you in your pursuit of justice.

The fingerprints are either all mine, or some mine and some someone else's. If they are someone elses, then that person will be caught. If they are all mine, then I have nothing else, so why not just confront him. I'm not talking about the convo going something like..."Hey you! You broke into my car!" And it's not like I'm going to take a bat to his car or anything. Just talk to the guy. Plus I'm on my way to the gas station that the "person" used the credit card with, and I'm gonna try to access the video tape.

They are very suspicious...

I think you have already taken the right step by getting the police involved.

Like DV said, assault is no bueno, and it will probably only piss you off more knowing they got away, you have an effed up car, PLUS assault charges.

Just wait and see what happens with the police report.. press charges if you can.. and hope they learn their lesson.

But, if you do want some good 'ol fashion vigilante mayhem, I guess our next Sinister Six meet will be at your apartment? ;) ;) hehe :D

you need to let the police do their job. the only thing you should be doing is keeping them informed on any information you get. fingerprints are often difficult to get, much less you have to get a good enough one to actually match. and beyond that, you have to have a suspect's prints to match that to.

there are ways that police can go about solving a bmv. just be patient and don't get pissy over this azz clown. most likely it is unrelated. with what you described, it wouldn't make sense for this guy to run out and break into your car and steal your stuff because he'd obviously be a suspect. if he had a grudge against you, he'd have vandalized the outside. it's harder to get caught, it's a direct act against you, and if you do get caught, it's far usually less serious.

i've taken thousands of burglary reports and solved plenty of them. just don't go stirring up trouble. the police may be waiting on this guy to do something and here you come bringing up the fact that you know he did something; and you don't even know for sure.

Ok, well a new situation has arrosed, and here's the deal. The credit company said that the card was used at 6:30, 6:37, and 6:42am at some gas station (I'll find out which one today hopefully). Here's the shady part. I've never broken into a car before, but if I was going to, and people have brought this up, I would grab everything I can. Not just a wallet and a piece of jewelry. I had Arnettes, expensive cologne, stereo, all sorts of stuff. My windows are BLACK so it's not like you know the wallet's in there, and it seemed like the person went straight for it. But back to the credit card thing, the timing really got me. 6:30ish AM? Hmm....some punk kid or his friends wouldn't be at a gas station that early in the morning to use the card. But I know who might, and that's the gardeners/maintanence workers. They are always around my car it seems. So now I have to call the detective on Tuesday and let him know what gas station the card was used and that the gardeners/workers are suspected as well. I'll also get the plate of the R32 so if its on camera, then its a go. The investigator fingerprinted my car, got a palm print and 3 distinct fingerprints, and a few partials. So that's a good sign.

That is good news man.
Well, not good news if the gardeners took it. They probably barely got in the country a few years ago so I doubt the police will be able to match a finger print.

Did that find any mushroom stamps on the car?
