someone explain the scale of 1-10 please.

It seems everyone has different opinions on the 1-10 scale. i think that 5 is average because its right in between the worst (1) and the best(10) so there fore half way in between worst and best is average because if 6 was average then 12 would have to be best because then the scale would be lopsided. An example of this is hotornot.com some people there think that 7.5-8 is BAD (or at least average).
Whats your opinion on the 1-10 scale, where does "average" fall in your book?

1-dead
2-coma/or very very old
3-burnt throughout
4-smashed/bruised/torn up but still alive
5-some form of physical disability that turns you off
6-fix/brush teeth, fix/brush hair, wear clothing not rags
7-Acne cream needed as well as/or either lose/gain weight, although I'll still "do you"
8-Caught my eye, definantly
9-WOW!! You're hot!
10-no such thing....but we like to think that some people are "perfect for us"

As far as probability and numbers gaming, 5 is average on a 1-10 scale. As far as ethics, the scale is 5-10....7.5 average. Hope this helps a bit, and it IS just my POV

actually, it's a common misconseption that I've noticed people saying that 5 is the middle on the scale of 1-10 but it's not actually true. 5 would be the middle on a scale of 1-9 but on a 1-10 scale, 5 and 6 both share the middle.
