Why is firebird insurance more than a camaro? My wife wants to get a firebird so i called me insurance guy today for qoutes{ we only get insurance on cars with loans, other than that we dont care}we pay $134 a month for the red camaro convertible and they want $201 a month for a black v6 firebird coupe

firebird is the more of the "luxurious" of the two, so i would assume they feel it would cost more to fix/replace. :shrug: thats my guess.RedlineVSix -

Firebird nosecones, fenders, and hood are a ****load more expensive to replace than Camaro body parts [img]smile.gif[/img] And least we forget the hatch and rear bumpers! Taillights too... My firebird was $72 when I got it and my camaro was $92 for the same year and the firebird was about $2000 more so beats me why yours is more. 2001 camaro convertible-$847.56 a month{ my car}
2000 honda civic- $601.45 a month
1990 geo prizm- $223.67 a month
wtf this is funny hahahah, boy if im ever alone again im screwed, ill be driving a 89 tempest in a one room shack. jesus, if i lived alone id have a $189 car payment and a $847 insurance payment, these people are insane. They wonder why the majority of the population doest have insurance, id compare a $300 insurance ticket to a $900 monthly payment

wow man. Before we were married, full coverage on my camaro ran me $130 a month. After the wedding, it went to $110 a month, and now that I also have full coverage on the rx-7 as well, we pay $160 a month for both. I don't know.
