iPod Shuffle

im thinkin about getting an ipod shuffle, I have one question though. Do you have to have iTunes to put songs on it? Or can you use a file-sharing program such as limewire?

You don't really need iTunes to put music on, but you can't use file-sharing programs. I hate the way iTunes handles my music library (or the lack of handling it,) so for right now I use a program called YamiPod. It's free, but it doesn't do much of a better job either. There's a $30 program called XPlay 2 that allows you to drag and drop your whole music library onto the iPod using windows.

Why not the mini or the 20gig, i was origionally going to go with the mini, but decided to get the 20gig. Its a great investment.

the shuffle is only $150 for the 1G, and 20G is more songs than i will ever have on it

So get a mini, i dont know, i just dont really like how it doesnt have a LCD.
