Could have sworm all the supercar companies basically "handmade" their cars, as opposed to the start assembly line method for most cars. That that was another fact that upped the price of them even more. Ask GM to handmake something and they will just laugh at you lol

the S7 and Murcielago are about even in terms of performance. The Lambo has 580hp/479 ft.lbs torque from a 6.2L V-12, the S7 550 hp/525 ft.lbs torque from a 7.0L v8. the lambo weighs 4010 lbs., the S7 2870 lbs. So, the S7's power-to-weight ratio is actually better than the lambo. In Car & Driver's 0-100-0 test, the S7 out-accelerated the Murcielago by .5 sec. the Murcielago won the test, though, because it had ABS, while the S7 didn't. this allowed the lambo to shave .8 seconds off the S7's time, even though the S7 was .7 ahead by the time 100 MPH came.

the saleen is also .2 sec quicker in the 1/4 than the Lamborghini (11.8 to 12.0) and has a higher top speed (220 to 205). It pulls .99g on the skidpad to the murcielago's .90, and the S7 slaloms at 70.6 MPH, to the lambo's 65.7. the Mclaren pulls .86g on the skidpad and does 64.5 in the slalom. the S7 also gets 11 mpg, while the lambo gets 10. so, i'd have to say the Americans outperformed the Italians on this one.

Right. No contest. 200 mph is slower than 240 last time I checked. American "supercars" are cheap imitations, get over it. No domestic will ever touch the Lamborghini V12. Don't forget, the Lambo punches 550 hp in base trim, 600 in GT or higher in GTR. That's enough to royally spank any 435 BS the domestics can come out with.

That's a car that weighs 3000-3500 lbs. 165 hp is not going to make as much of a difference as 1000+ lbs.

Plus, the Mosler uses an LS6. You can EASILY get more than 435 hp out of that engine... But yes, it wouldn't be stock then.

I like the swedish ride best, then the mosler. But i think if I was gonna have one or the other, i'd sell it and buy a house and a fleet of musclecars including a tta, GNX, '69.5 t/a, viper... 2002 last of the breed T/A.

DUHHHH. You keep ignoring the fact that the motor they are using is a FORD... Sweden just modified it and put it on an ultra-light frame and put an ultra-light body around it!
