• 3,4Ls are good little motors...

just talked to the guy that bought my old 3.4L

Its up to 165k miles. Stock motor all I ever did was adjust the rockers areound 115k because of ticking.

car been through a few trannies even more clutches, blew out a 10 bolt, broke a drivehshaft even broke a torque arm, and like 600 passes at the strip, road races, autocrosses, and well just me

Car is still running fine. Not bad for a ~12 year old $13k new off the lot car.

I've got nearly that many miles too and I agree, it's been super dependable. Has a few squeaks and rattles inside, but can't complain mechanically. I think Camaroman has like 225k on his.

....Mine took a HELL of a beating and a lot of ...nvm =P

All I can say is, just before I sold her she was starting to show wear on the motor at 120k, I guess those stock cast iron heads didn't like how much she was getting.. hahaha

How the hell did you break a 10-bolt. After a multitude of 5k rpm clutch dumps, my rear is fine...

my 3.4's getting up there too,at 177,000km shes running good, all I need is a new clutch/starter/DS motor needs to be replaced, other then that she has a little start up black smoke but thats it.I do want to upgrade to a newer TA or Z28 soon.

how many is a multitude? I had like 500-600 on that car.

I think the torque arm, and torque arm mount is crazier then the 10bolt with 100k on it.
