anybody with estimating software? (body shop guys)

I backed into a friend of mine a few weeks ago and I'm paying him in cash for the repairs to his truck. The total was $1117 for everything. Seemed a little high to me, so I thought I would get some feedback. It's a '98 ford ranger, light metallic blue. I damaged the passenger side of the bed (it's a stepside) behind the wheel well. His bodyshop guy says it needs to be replaced, I'm making him get used parts. Also, it very slightly bent the bumper and that's being replaced with a roll pan. So, basically the right side of the bed and the bumper are being replaced and painted. Thoughts?
