                  Um, 'Stangs are rear wheel drive. Since all the power gets put to the ground from those two wheels, perhaps the chains would best serve their purpose on the rear two wheels.

                      The black mustangs come FWD....maybe the chains have oil or grease on them.

                        Yeah, it takes a while for the chains to start working really well. They have to cool down to their optimal temperature to really grip those slick surfaces. I suggest parking the car in a cold area...
