I finally started doing it myself. I've got 4 PCs running it, and also my laptop when it's on. The only time I shut it down on this PC is if I'm playing a game, because it does take up some cycles, tho not a lot, when you're using other processes.

I think I'll sticky this for a few days.

My question is, why do SETI when Cancer is a much more important and urgent issue? I'll install and run this program as well. I'm sure my 1.4GHz super-computer (lol, that was a joke folks) will help cure this plague once and for all! ;)

Honestly? Because I don't see it as that much more important and urgent.

That's pretty cold, man. But to each their own, I suppose.

Edit: Forgot to add that I've signed up with CamaroZ28.com as my team, let's hope this helps...

I know it sounds like that, but I don't mean it that way. I don't want it to sound like I just don't care. My grandmother had breast cancer, I'm lucky to still see her. When it comes down to it, I just don't think it's gonna find the cure. But I know others will say the same thing about SETI. FWIW, I am on the Camaro team for SETI. ;)

I can understand SETI. Look at it this way, if we can contact a highly intelligent alien race, they can probably tell us how to cure cancer. ;)

Yeah, it sucks. I've got a bunch of fast Linux boxes I could run it on too, but there is no Linux client. :(
