Not with me driving

That was my best time, not my average time everyday. And stangs will run better then 14.4s all day.

Go for it, its a great vehicle. I saw a brand new 04 put down 220 to the wheels. Pretty impressive... Sounds like a good increase in performance and you can't beat that new car smell. Plus you'd make a pretty good Mustang owner.

Please don't get a plain GT. Everyone has one and they are slow (atleast the majority on the streets).

Step up, spend a little bit more, and get a rare one if you must leep to the darkside.

I admit, Cobras are some good squishy.

Or you can be fast NA and get an LS1... ;)

                                Huh?

Are you guys talking about autos or something, I have drivine an auto and a 5-speed, auto felt faster then me but jsut barely... 5-speed would have wasted me no problem.

As for the times you saw, a guy at the track asked me and shane what to do since he has never been to the track and he just bought this stang GT and had never ran it. He pulled a 14.6, spinning halfway down the track on like his 3rd run ever...

Decently driven easy low 14s, with people in the high 13s stock. Just slightly slower then a lt1 stock for stock.

And I half know have talked to a guy at the track numerous times runs consistant low 13s with a best of a 13.0 with full intake exhaust, and gears. Good enough for me...

I know I won't be "king of the hill" never will be in the game of racing cars... There are people who always have more money, and anyways I have nothing to prove. I don't get cars to try and prove I am "better". I never woudl have gotten v6s then. Sorry if I woudl rather have a new car for $18k then a newest 2-3 year old used one that likely has 30k on the odometer for the same price. With financing and such, I woudl be paying for an ls1 till ~80-90k. If a bank would let me, yeah not a good idea. And I really don't want ot put any more money down on a car, I have it but I am not putting into putting every cent I have into a car, I have other things in life I am making money towards.

In one way or another I have owned an f-body the entire time I have had a driver's license, heck got my first f-body when I was 15.

Another thing to anyone who has bashed it... have you ever driven a mustang yet?

As for SRT-4, I really looked at them but I prefer a nice RWD car with midrange and manual tranny.
