Well, 260hp is only 60hp more than V6 f-body... you'll get tired of it quickly. To me, even LS1 v8 with ram-air package feels slow now (driven one a few times)...
it all depends what you want. I, personally, want a fast car that looks like a true SPORTS CAR, not like a 2-dr passenger coupe...
Originally posted by hawgs: Maybe I missed it somewhere... but I didnt see anyone bashing the GTs, merely expressing facts (220RWHP & 15.3s) and opinions (which you asked for)
I guess your right...
200hp 230ft/lbs torque cars run low 15s.
260hp, 305ft/lbs torque cars run 15.3s
Thanks Hawgs as usual your posts and the rest of sick sixx posts are useful and enlightening as usual .
Tiago said 15.3, not me... and he was driving next to the guy and it is his good friend from college, I do not think he is lying.
I was 5 feet away from a 2004 GT that dyno'ed 220RWHP bone stock. I can reference you to the thread on LS1tech.com where HE posted it if you wish.
Are these not facts? Am I lying? Am I talking about stuff that didn't happen to make Mustangs look bad? You are correct... I am right. Don't start with me Eric.

I just said thanks for the help... way to accept a compliment...
Do you have to turn every post of mine into a battle?

It does not take a fool to see what you meant when you said that, do not play off your loaded comments as compliments. </font>
I am just stating the facts you posted and what is generally known amoung the v6 community...
Honestly why do you post in my posts... I avoid yours for the most part?
No one likes our debates(well some do :D ) but they get old, piss off the admin and board members. So please go get on someone elses nuts. Thank You...
Originally posted by Tiago: its obvious it can run better then he drove it but still 98 mph vs 104 and mine is "only" a 99 heh
hehe well I know ls1s are faster thats a given. But I am not looking at getting an ls1 Believe me I have looked into them and researched them.
Well it seems you know your stuff about stangs, looks like a good fit for you. If you have the means to get in a new car with more performance, then do it. Go get a good deal on an 04 before they are gone. I like the "dark shadow gray" color. Nothing wrong with 220RWHP by the way.

Or maybe a used XK8. Depends on the next few months.
Yeah... lots of people debate between those two cars, theyre so gosh darn similar. </font>
I could just buy both. Kills your debate.
