Fiance broke up with me

was a week ago..were together almost 2 years..just said she was unhappy in the relationship..that we were just two different people who wanted different things out of life..and she was not ready to commit like that..so now im living back home at my mother's..im pretty crushed over it..dont know if i'll be on much..just wanted to spread the news i guess..i am now an unhappy single man

actually thats all i keep trying to think about..the upcoming racing season..but i doesnt really work..just ordered a new laptop for HP Tuners..new drag radials will soon follow..most likely a torque converter will go in late spring..living at my mother's i have tons of money again

Seems like a lot of relationships are ending recently. I personally can't deal with them. Not that I am afraid of committment, but that I can't deal with someone that isn't EXACTLY into my interests. I am sorry for the loss, but I really think that marriage or even relationships for that matter are far too complicated to be wasting anyones time with while they are young. I will wait till I find a woman that knows for sure what she wants, and doesn't sway from that ever. Till then, I just go get mine whenever. I have better things to focus on my life besides some woman that isn't 100% committed to herself and me. And if you ever find a woman that does and feels exactly as she says, then I have beachfront property in Arizona to sell you.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. My ex broke up with me not to long ago, we were together for a year +, its hard as hell at first, but you'll come to. It just takes time, keep your confidence up.

I am in the pursuit of perfection, although perfection is only a matter of opinion. If she is perfect to me, then I will pursue it. But only one woman has been close, and it wasn't meant to be. I don't think about it, I can't control someone else, so no sense dwelling on it. I guess what really gets me is people that enter a relationship out of just plain fear of being alone. They compromise everything they once believed out of that fear, and are more than willing to change everything about them just so they don't have to spend another night alone. Its really f***ing sick, pathetic, and shameful. Neither person in a relationship that are really TRUELY in love would ever have to change something about them to be with the other person, they would understand and support who and what they are, on BOTH sides. I can see changing little things over a period of time, but they're just too many people that don't want to be alone anymore that they will change the very core of what they are. I won't do that, its not worth selling myself out. I'd like to die someday knowing at the very least that I was true to myself. It took me a long time to realize this, but that is something that I will never change about me. Sorry if you think thats funny.

sorry to hear that though.sucks to think your about to be with someone for the rest of your life and then all of a sudden they back out on you. my question is this, why tell someone yes you'll marry them and then turn around 3 months later and back out?

id much rather have a woman tell me no when i ask, rather than wait a few months and then tell me its over. id probably go chuck norris on someone after wasting my money and time.
