• TO ALL MEMBERS! (Picture now)

Please be advised that I've just gotten out of back surgery and back home. I've gotten emails from a few people and will get to you ALL in the next couple of days, but I'm a bit tired. So bear with me right now.

Stefan- I'll get to your email first when I get a few minutes later to talk about things... Unless you want to email me a number I can call you at.

And yes... I'm doing fine... Just really sore. Will be a while before i can do cart wheels but was told by the surgeon that had I not done the surgery when I did, I would have been paralyzed due to how the herniation was pushing into the spinal cord. But scare will only be about 2 inches and will make a full recovery in time.

Play nice for the time being guys... don't make me hurt myself more by sitting at my desk banning people

    Steve

No...laughing does not hurt... but it might when you see what my sense of humor did to your AV

I had a Bi-lumbar Laminotomy Discectomy. yeah... say that 3 times really fast. What it is, is a herniated disc (L4-L5) that was pushing on my spinal cord. That's the small of your back.

I'll try to get a picture of the scare in the next day or so. Doc was real good to me and only made it as big as the tools needed to get into my back... vs. the guy before me... he got a 6-7 in scare  Mine should only be about 1.5 inches.

Just doing alot of resting. Sit for 30 minutes and lay down again for 2-3 hours. TV is getting boring and can't hang out in a lazyboy chair, it's back for posture. Just have to do my time resting and then back to PT again.

I think they slipped and cut the part of your spine that tells your fingers to spell correctly. To my knowledge theres no 'e' in 'scar.'

Along with an extra E, as in "TO ALL MEMEBERS!!!!".

Haha, I had to. Glad you got that checked out, you looked in pain with that. Heal well.

Those spelling mistakes are normal for me...

Now.. I'm sure that most are curious what this looks like. It's a 2 inch scar in the lower back. (very small because I asked the doc for it to be small) Now picture that scar pulled wide open and tools being shoved in to the spine, around the spine and picking at the spine. Sounds like fun don't it.

                              http://xjjeep.com/images/scar.jpg

My hand is on my tailbone to give you a reference where the scar is at. And no jokes. I've been in a mood to ban lately while sitting around here doing nothing.
