  • Farenheit 9/11.

This was an EXCELLENT movie to watch, Moore did a GREAT job taking isolated facts and linking them together, he paints a clear and perfect picture of why GeeDub must not be elected.

I HIGHLY recommend this movie to anyone and everyone and if I can say one or two words of advice: Go into it with an open mind, but a grain of salt.

Listen, they don't have any actors dressed up as Bush and they sure don't splice speeches like Moore supposedly did in Bowling.

This being said, don't just openly believe everything you see, it's a 2 hour lambaste of the worst president in history, so be sure that even if you forget half of it you still have more evidence than before that Bush sucks.

            100% lies.

To describe this film as dishonest and demagogic would almost be to promote those terms to the level of respectability. To describe this film as a piece of crap would be to run the risk of a discourse that would never again rise above the excremental. To describe it as an exercise in facile crowd-pleasing would be too obvious. Fahrenheit 9/11 is a sinister exercise in moral frivolity, crudely disguised as an exercise in seriousness. It is also a spectacle of abject political cowardice masking itself as a demonstration of "dissenting" bravery.

And it will not affect the election at all. W for 4 more.

This doesn't address half the facts brought up by Moore, namely the point that the lives lost in the whole war, both the failed war in Afghanistan (which WAS meaningless because we FAILED TO CATCH BIN LADEN) and the meaningless one in Iraq. It shows kids playing in the streets in the weeks before Baghdad got bombed, and then the GODDAMNED INNOCENT CIVILIAN DEAD BEING CARTED AWAY AFTERWARDS!

It is very convincing that Bush is indeed the bad guy, and since most of the people who will see it are undecided or liberal, it is safe to say that reports such as the poor excuse of an attack listed above which details about 4 valid points that Moore makes and discredits none completely, it is safe to say that the movie which is a very moving experience will have a severe political impact, depending on the size/political orientation of its audience. Hopefully, it'll help turn the tide and win Kerry the White House, but I for one will be watching the public opinion polls to see how much/if any it affects the Loser's approval ratings.

So, it's completely untrue that Bush didn't immediately do anything after he got word of the first WTC bombing, just kept on chuggin and went to his photo shoot in a Florida school?

It's completely untrue that even as he recieved word of the second plane crashing into the WTC he didn't do anything at all?

Is it 100% lies that he spent 42% of his first 8 months on the job on vacation?

One scene I particularly enjoyed was a pro-war quote of the president talking smack about Iraq, nothing but solemnity, and then, with a magical grin he exclaims, "Now watch me hit this drive!" and immediately turns around, addresses the ball and gives 'er a pretty respectable rip. There's another scene where a reporter asks the pres a question about his excessive vacation, and he goes on for about 5 minutes with nothing but fillers about uh, we're going to proceed with some iniatives.... uh...

It's ludicrous that this ape could ever be elected, and if he wasn't his father's son he never would have been.

This wasn't locked, the first thread was to discuss whether or not you were going to see it. This one is clearly different, it is a debate over the actual content of the film.

Exactly. Oh btw it DOES address plenty of the facts. I hope people are smart enough to know that it's just a biased piece of liberal propaganda, with loose facts and straight out lies. Like almost everything else he does.

My question is why won't he have an interview with this guy?

                            http://www.michaelmoorehatesamerica.com/

Some of Michael Moore's views bring up good points. But the fact he is so one sided and by it they are overlooked.
