thats plasma, not blood. its more often for plasma b/c they remove the blood, then take the plasma out of the blood, and put the blood back in.Originally posted by Skapimp:

Every 80 days for rgular donors. Now for other donations like whole blood I think it's called (where they seperate the blood, and send back in the plasma with a bit of anti-coagulant) it's every 120 days. Every couple months. It's good ... replenishes the blood.

Ok listen to this ****. The bloodmobile came to my school. I was a first time donor...Got a little light headed but I held up, they pulled out the needle and I looked to my right, and I heard the nurse say "Dammit!" I look down, the SOB had dropped my blood bag and the little hose had squirted like a ****load of my blood on the ground...I was so pissed to say the least.

I donated blood once.. made the mistake of not eating at all that day and passed out. I'm never letting anyone have my blood again unless its a medical reason for me, or someone close to me.RedlineVSixComment
