So I volunteered to work christmas

I volunteered to work thanksgiving, all the days around it, new years eve, new years and easter so I can have a week off around Xmas.

But I only get time and a half for holidays :(

good for you, i work thanksgiving, christmas and christmas eve{ mandatory} and i dont get any holiday pay at all, all regular pay around here

I guess you could say I volunteered to work on every holiday until February, when I said I wanted to come over here. Lucky me, Christmas falls on my day off though. Nothing like Christmas in the desert!

I work xmas and thanksgiving.. no holiday either. But I get off at 3 and I'll get back home in time for my girl to have dinner on the table for me :D

That's the one good benefit of overnight shift. I wake up, eat christmas eve dinner, go to work, come home, eat christmas breakfast, open presents. :D

Not to mention, I'll be bringing in my 'special eggnog' to work with me ;)
