Its been snowing like crazy since about 8:00. Huge snowflakes, some are as big as quarters. I almost got stuck on the way home, 4 way stops take some skill in an f-body. this brings back memories from last year :mad:

It is snowing like hell here in salina. It started to stick about 45 minutes ago. We already have about 1/2". I am soo pissed. I have to be at work in 30 minutes, and I have kuhmo 711's on my maro. I am screwed. How am I gonna get home at 4 am?

I cant wait to take the vette out in the snow for the first time this year. As bad as the vette is, the Ram isnt much better being 4x2 and no weight over rear wheels.

Holy crap this has been a crazy night. My friend took me to work in his Z71 at about 1030pm. We had about 1 inch of accumulation. As soon as I got to work, the transformer that controls the northern half of salina totally blew up! I guess it shorted out from the snow and moisture. It made green, blue, red, and pink, streaks in the sky.

THis was very bad for me. I work at UPS in thier local hub. The entire operation is based on a 150 foot long conveyer belt, that moves packages from one side of the facility to the other. The belt is powered by electric motors. WIth no power, we had to slide the boxes down the belt by hand. We sprinkled kitty litter on the belt to help the boxes slide better. It was really dark inside, so a driver pulled a route truck inside to light the place with high beams. That hurt my eyes.

After about 90 minutes of this, the power came back on. We all jumped for joy. SOmeone turned the belt on, and it started to move the boxes the way it was supposed to. It also dumped all 150 lbs. of kitty litter into the motor/bearing asseblies. The belt came grinding to a halt once again.

I don't know what idiot decided to dump kitty litter into the belt bearings, but I want to slap his retarded a$$.

I was supposed to get my turbo delivered via UPS tommorrow. Since we couldn't see anything for the first hour, it got loaded into the wrong truck, and it is presently on its way to Denver. It doesn't say this on the tracking website, I know because I was working in the trailer that it was supposed to go into. THe guy next to me admitted that he wasn't sorting anything, he was just throwing crap in trucks. I was gonna fab up my turbo exhaust tommorrow (later today), but now I won't have a turbo. @#*%&!($&#

Our scanners weren't working, so no packages are gonna get tracked if they moved through our hub.

We had 1500 that were without power for awhile last night. There are about 10 trees in my neighborhood that are split down the middle, or huge branches have broken off because of the heavy and sticky snow.
