Correct me if im wrong but would the corvette not have killed him in 1/4 i mean it def has more low wrange torque

plus theres a big class difference here, lighter car with a sweet setup vs heavy car with little mods. I dunno why dont we think about what would have happened against a vette with a single turbo hmmmmmm.

oh well still a cool vid and he def toped out higher than the vette but it sounded like he still had the factory speed limiter cuz my 6 will hit 150 if i keep her going in a straight line long enough(yes i did get caught oops but i got it reduced to just reckless instead of "attempted vehicular homicide") and ive seen heads and cam z06's hit speeds higher than that again going in a striaght line long enough.

Lame and tired argument, Vettes didn't come stock with turbos.

BTW, I'm pretty sure Z06's are gear limited top speed, I wanna say around 170 or so. A stock C5 will actually go "faster" then a Z06

171mph i believe cause I'm pretty sure my corvette has a higher top speed, drag limited though...172mph (so they say from the factory).

As for an SRT-4 beating a vette, looked pretty close. I get the point though. That's why I'm selling my vette and putting money into my Laser in particular.

Well done turbo 4 poppers can get up and go. I have no doubt that my laser RST would be able to keep up with a heads and cam Z06 when it is together. (2550lbs -high weight estimate @ 400hp/300-350ftlbs should handily keep up with a vette like that, but I'm not gonna go up to 170mph+, that would be scary as crap in a DSM).

You can just make the turbo 4cylinder fast for cheaper. I mean hell, I can beef up the laser and turbo the camaro putting at least the laser into the 11s when my corvette is sold, and still have prolly $8-10k left over.
