    new car and already messed it up

    well I would call it car tragedy not really a life and death kinda thing.
    well i got my new C6 orange corvette this past sunday. I am 20 years old BTW so the dealership sucked when it came to financing but i got the car in the end.
    The car is almost at 300 miles now, cause i've driven it around a lot and today the worst thing the could happen to someone with a new car happens, some ******* backed up into me at a toll booth.

    there was a car in front of him that apparently had stalled out, so he thought that it was going to take a while. He just put his car on reverse and hit the gas, i was right behind him, he said he didnt see me cause his car is a big *** black chevy truck and its pretty high off the ground. I was kinda close to him, well who isnt at a toll booth, everyone is on line, so I tried putting my car on reverse to back up and give him space but he hit the **** out of me. The damage wasn't too bad, I guess the vette is pretty strong, but now I gotta get it fixed this upcoming week. Say goodbye to showing off for the next two weeks, I am so mad at him and at myself, I should have been like 15 ft back or something knowing my car is low to the ground. any other sad stories feel free to post.

      ouch that sucks.20 years old? [img]graemlins/omg.gif[/img] insurence ( spelling? )must really suck. im scared to see what mines going to be when i finally get my car fixed. that link didnt work ( at least not for me ) id love to see pics though, to see how bad it is.

          sorry to hear about the loss but that's life. If life wouldn't had any screw ups, it wouldn't be any thriling....

                            i did go off on him, but if i would have hit him i would have been ****ed. well the insurance called and yes they are fixing it, i get an appraisal on tuesday and then off to the shop, so it should be good soon. I just hate to see the value of it go down, two years from now when i wanna trade it in for a viper or something I am going to be screwed, oh well, thats life for you.

                              if you want to hear a sad story, a technician at my shop backed over a 50th corvette with a 2500HD. happened before i worked there so i cant describe the damage but it was describle simply as horrible.
