Well the chick that was with me when we got busted for our little speeding escapade through denver of 140+ on the bikes went to court this week. They offered her a plea bargain of dropping the speeding and just writing up wreckless driving which is an 8 point ticket. Well she didn't take it because she would lose her license because of getting to many points between 16 and 21. She turn 21 next month so she is taking it to court to fight it. Well I figure I will get offered the same deal. Well I have 0 points this year and i got 4 points last year so I would have 1 point left until April when I turn 21 @ that time I would have 4. The one thing I'm not sure about is your only allowed 12 in a 24 month period. I'm not sure if that means they suspend it @ 12 or if you can't get anymore than 12. I'm gonna offer a counter on my ticket that I will plead guilty to speeding @ 79 in a 55 which isn't crimminal charges but is still a 6 point ticket and will guarantee that I will keep my license. O and yes I do have a lawyer for this too. As far as going on my driving record besides points I don't have to worry about it because I have an out of state license so hopefully they will take that plea and I won't have to drag it out in court.

If ya got lawyers drag it out. say your going to a funeral/what ever across country and wont be back for 3-6 months. Then drag it out more as you got held up. turn 21 and tell em to stick it.
Lawyers can get court dates set back forever. I took 6 months to get my **** straight so when I did go to court I was fully licensed and insured.BuickThunder.com
\"Think out side the bowtie\"

I will say the traffic crap I had would of put me in jail for 3 years total. Instead as I cleaned up my record in the 6 months I only got 3 suspend sentences of 6 month each and just had to keep a clean driving record and be insured. Been that way for about 5 years now. Till I got that darn $120 rail road cross ticket on the 12th.BuickThunder.com
\"Think out side the bowtie\"

Innocent until proven guilty... Gotta love it...Sometimes it can be proven and magistrate can forget to verify age with mother.. Cousin got off 105 in a 55 because of that.. Wreckless in PA is a mandatory 3 month suspension, and when you get your liscence back you automatically have 5 points on it. 12 is the point number for 18+ year olds to have it suspended again.
Might want to check to make sure wreckless doesnt entail an automatic suspension.

I remember this. Sorry to have been so harsh on you blue, the first time you posted about this offense. I think I was just trying to get the point across about responsibility. I didn't actually want you to lose your license over it. At least I didn't want the possibility to pop up. Good luck in court, it's nice to see someone actually trying to take responsibility for their actions, but not take it in the shorts at the same time.Check out my stable of supercharged W-Bodies HERE
\'97 Pontiac GP GTP Coupe
\'98 Regal GS | L67 3800 Series II

Why wouldn't your friend just accept the plea bargin? Since she'll be 21 next month she won't be without her license for very long at all. If she goes to court and loses she'll end up with a suspended license. I would imagine she'll be fined either way.
On a side note, 140+ mph on a bike would be one hell of a mess to clean up off the road. Take it easy out there. Be safe.1998 A4 Pontiac Firebird
