• My truck's rebuild is complete! *PICS*

Before:
1
2
12" Lift front & rear, shotty steering, 3" body lift and custom bumpers not designed w/ approach & departure angles in mind.

After:

1
2
3

Stock rear (52" long) springs custom-fabbed & fitted to the front w/ 7.25" long shackles, providing aproximately 5" of lift. Stock 56" long rear springs in the rear with a shackle-flip kit and 6" long custom shackles, providing aproximately 5-6" of lift. Crossover steering, custom-built approach & departure angle friendly bumpers (soon to have a winch). I've also left the 3" body lift and done some fender trimming to clear the 38.5"x14.5w" meats.

What using the longer rear springs (both custom-fabbed for the front, and in rear) does is allow for INSANE flexibility. Also, using stock springs in leiu of Lift springs is that lift springs tend to be much stiffer and less flexible.

What you're seeing here is less than 50% of the trucks' new-found flex. Due to that flexibility, I had to drop over 7 bills for a custom front driveshaft capable of the compound angles

Thanks

That is a winch bumper - I just have to mount the winch.

The rear driveshaft was done by a local company - the previous owner did that.

My High Angle Driveline front driveshaft just arrived yesterday. I don't think ORD does driveshafts.

DOAH!! I meant to say HAD I always get the abreviated companies mixed HAD,ORD etc... I got most of my suspension upgrades through ORD but the shackle flip I had custom made and it gives me 6' of lift just from the flip and Im using stock springs plus I put a zero rate on the rear as well.
