Basically the police package has some suspension upgrades(better quality parts) a few more ponnies (not much) but the biggest difference is the electrical system, you have the option to run lots of accesories off the vehicle due to the larger alternator. I know it has a better cooling system too because the vehicle has to sit for long periods of time.
