usps and media mail

anyone heard of this/used it? it seems to be really cheap. you can only ship like CD's. books.. etc. media mail. but how would they know?? i shipped like a big heavy text book and 2 CD's from NC to NY and it cost me like 3 dollars and 10 cents cuz i shipped it media mail. anyone work for USPS or know anything else about it?

It's slow... and its USPS, but it is cheap.

yeah i have used many times but only for "media". Everytime i send something via media mail they always ask me whats inside. It's slow but not too bad for the price. Coolest thing about it is that you may ship up to a whooping 70 lbs.
