This is outrageous.

Many Republicans came into Congressional power largely on promises of fiscal and economic responsibility and now they launch this. This is completely opposite of everything the Tax Reform Act of 1986 did.

Where does a person like me who is looking for our leaders to exercise economic responsibility turn? Both parties are awful.

Eh, I don't know. We're all kinda screwed. :(

I think the term "fiscal responsibility" is no longer in either party's vocabulary. Normally its the Republicans who spend less but not this administration. Bush has already spent more than Clinton did in both his terms.

But Democrats aren't known for reducing government spending either.

Are the men in Congress right now really the best this nation can come up with?
