I thought about calling this thread "Dumbass Rednecks," but I wasn't sure if the person in question is necessarilly a redneck or just an ***.

Anyway I was at Wendy's getting some dinner with my roommate, when this 30ish looking guy with a mustache comes up to us and asks "You guys don't smoke do you?" He obviously wanted to bum a cig or get a light. We said "Sorry we don't." Then this assclown says "I didn't think so. You two look two dweebish."

At this point I thought it was actually pretty funny that some random dumbass would come up to us and say that. And he had started walking away so I didn't say anything. He throws away his trash and walks past us on the way out and asks "Do you guys spend a lot of time on the computer?" I said "Not really" (was lying then, but felt that was the best way to get him to leave), and then he replies "Oh, well you look like you do."

I was actually more suprised that anyone would talk to a stranger like that than I was angry at the time. Although as he was walking out I had formulated some choice words for his fat ***... unfortunately there were kids around, and somehow I didn't think a string of fbombs or mf's would have gone over so well ;)

At any rate, I never had anyone tell me I looked like "dweebish" before. I don't think I do. In fact, the only times I have had strangers give me grief were a few times I had to deal with drunks when I worked in the ER. I suppose I'll just have to console myself with the fact that I will probably be paying more in malpractice insurance than that guy will ever hope to make in a year.

Have any of you ever had an experience like that?

Even if I was inclined to fight the guy, I can get in to some pretty serious trouble with the school even regarding things I do off campus I believe. He may have been drunk... who knows.

Yeh all the time. Around here you get all kinds of crazy people walking around, especially while you're out in DC at night to party. People beg money, try to start ****. After a while you just ignore 'em.

There was this incident a week ago, I stopped by 7-11 and there was this dude (it was at like 3am) and he starts talking to me asking all kinds of dumb questions. Then he put his hand like he was about to hit me... lol, I just chuckled and walked to my car (nightstick is in there). Pulled it out, so he gets a message, put it back and got into the car and drove away.

Maybe before I moved away from MD that may have happned, but nothing big enough to remember.

It's best to just ignore azzclowns like that.

I dont know why but random people always seem to start **** with me, I get alot of **** cause my wife is hispanic and im white so ill get these hispanic dudes trying to get all hard on me. I jsut ignore them and laugh at how much better of a person i am then them.

For some reason, I ALWAYS get people asking me for a cigarette or a light. I guess I have the 'look' of a smoker since my mother always smoked around me. Everytime I say no, I always get some choice words. Yes, the nerve of some people.

dude the same kinda thing happend to my cousin in new york. i swear he attracts the weirdest people on earth. ok it started out they were eating dinner at some oriental restraunt and this girl comes up and starts talking to him and his friends, just the wierdest ****. like i know 5 languages (but she and only remeber the names of 4 of the languages so she says she know 4.5 languages which she never spoke any of). then she sits down at the table with them and starts feeding my cousin his food and playing footsie with one of the other guys. then she says she is a christian budist, wicken, satanist... very wierd religion if you ask me but anyway. then she asks them what they are doing later (by now my cousin was freaking out) so they say not much. then she tries to talk to them more and finally she goes to the bathroom and they quickly pay for the food and leave before she gets out. I cant beleive people like that exist its just wrong. my cousin doesnt even think she was on anything (and he is someone who would know).

Well yesterday, I was walking throug a parking lot after stopping by a radio shack(3rd one finally findding the thing I needed :mad: ) And some redneck in a big *** RAM was speeding through the parking lot he had to stop because I was already crossing the lot, he honked at me, so obviously I stopped and stood in front of his truck giving him a "Feck You" look, he honked a few more times so I just sat there for like 20 more seconds, then moved on.
