As far as me and him go I have been trying to ignore him which has worked but yesterday and today he was the first to say something to me (work related though). I am still ignoring him even though my co worker (and his good friend) was telling me i should talk to him and be nice and all that... but oh well. I want to ignore!!!

That a soft way of saying, I dont want to hurt your feelings but I want to screw other females, im not ready for commitment. Love is a form of commitment. Once he realized he hurt your feelings he probably got upset with himself.

Its a typical guy. You are just taking it too hard on yourself, you need to go out and have some fun. Think about yourself in this situation. As a human being you don't need to rely on love or him.

There is a type of love that many people get, its not really a love at all its a sickness due to being afraid of being alone. I had it once when I was younger. Thinking I loved someone that hurt me. Don't rely on a guy to make you happy in life. Relationships are for 2 people to be together so they are not lonely and they can take care of eachother. You have to not rush love, its like playing cards, you don't put all your money on the table before you examine the other players moves and view your options. Many people rush into love as a refuge. It's not a refuge its a commitment based on feelings of that others well being!

Before you fall in love again with a guy, be sure to be careful, take your time. It sounds like to me if you fell in love with someone that doesn't love you, it means you two didnt spend enough time with eachother to explore eachothers worlds and minds. You moved too fast. Thats all, just take it slow. Break ups are always hard, just take it one day at a time, always occupy your mind with an activity, do not let your mind wonder. Just forget and forgive. Thats all you need to do.

Don't look for love, look for someone that is willing to be there and care for you. Love will come over time. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Yes our friend was like be nice to him, he really doesnt want u to disappear out of his life= which i am sort of trying to do but its hard when u work at the same job. LOL yesterday I called him a dork when he walked by (real mature, right?? i cant risk someone overhearing me call him a ****er or something cause hes a supervisor and I am not one--- yet) then he was asking me work stuff and i just kept moving away from him. its a little wierd at work now.

Yeah I did fall for him fast and it freaked him out. He just felt so comfortable to be around.

I know about the Not wanting to be alone thing, which I have felt before but I have some good friends that are by my side when I need them... so i am not afraid of being alone much.

We werent looking for each other when we met. I was dating someone *that turned real rocky btw* and then paul came along. he was perfect to talk to.

I think another thing that happened where he said he cant love someone is cause of how hes been hurt really bad before. Hes not over that yet-- and the one he brought up the last time i was over there was about some girl that dumped him on valentine's day 10 years ago. ahhhhhh... He said he used to go all out on valentines day (and i believe it) but this past year i believe i cooked for him and he got me a little fake rose (lol but its cute) and the kind where you record a message on it and play it back. I dont even know what i got him... cant remember.

So you're probably not making out with him anymore, thats good. I've been in your situation before, it took me a while to realize that it was best for me to not be with her. It might also be good that you hold some animosity towards him. That way you wont let yourself get close to him again, at least not for a while.

Have you told his friends at work that you don't want to be nice to him? Maybe tell him that he should just chalk it up as a loss and leave you alone? Usually if I can tell that someone doesn't want to talk to me then I leave them alone. Why isn't he leaving you alone?

LOL!!!! everytime i visit this thread I get a laugh out of it.

Today was horrible. he said Hi, I glared at him and said hi... and now hes been working near my department so I see him a hell of a lot more walking around. He was talking with me today. ahhhhh I am trying to ignore him and hes talking to me, asking me things... like nothing happened this past weekend. He came by and swung at me with his clipboard in his hand (he used to do that all the time to mess with me) and well I said dont make me get my handgun!

I dont talk to him unless he says something to me first and well earlier today i gave him a hard time. I was mad plus I had a headache. LOL

Oh well he can dump me (chick with a firebird) and go find some Jeep chick cause while we were dating he went and signed up at www.jeepingsingles.net or whatever but never actually posted on any forums. Its like he made a profile and thats it. dumbass. Ehhh Jeeps are okay, but f-bodies have much more sex appeal. Even back when I had my old '87 Formula with the paint peeling off the hood and it running like it had a potato stuck in one of the cylinders... it still got lots of attention from the ladies, all I had to do was drive by really fast so they couldn't see how beat it up was!!

That sucks that you work with the guy, can't get away from him even if you try! I havent heard from him outside of work- no emails or anything, not like he does anyways...

But is SUCKS having to see him run around at work, i get kind of mad but yesterday he talked to me and tried to make me laugh by doing dumb things like swing at me with his clipboard... i guess he feels bad and yeah he should damnit!

talk to your boss and tell him hes bugging you
