Supposedly the ram air works better on the firebird and edges it out on the top end...Sinister Six©
My \'95 Bird
I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.

Weight depends on all the options you stack on too It is not enough of a difference to make one beat the other every time.Sinister Six©
My \'95 Bird
I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.

let me sum it up for ya...he drives a gt stang..i drive a firebird..ya know how the stang guys are...they can beat anything..even a stickered out civic..ss camaro handed it to em at a 40mph punch..then from a dead stop he took em..he's got quite a few mods and 4:10 gears..i made the comment that i thought on avg. the ramair birds seem to be a little quicker than the ss's..stock for stock..i might be off a little with that...he told em a stock ramair runs very high 13's...that's why i'm trying to get that list of 1/4mile times...98 bird Y87 SLP cai Msd Super Conducters Msd coils Splitfire Triple Platinums big bad Corvette servo

He is trying to say WS6's run VERY HIGH 13s? hahahaha Pretty much every GT 'Stang has to be a little modded to hit 13s. WS6's and SS's are basically the same, its the same engine, weight is almost the same, but in the end, they both run low 13s. I could see why the ram-air might beat the SS up top. PS. Just tell that guy he is stupid and he needs to get his facts straight, jk.Black \'94 Trans Am A4- SLP CAI & Loudmouth
Red \'93 Firebird A4- Ram Air under the WS6 hood, !cat, exhaust.

http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html actually a stock WS6 is running 13.9 at sea level the altitude makes a BIG difference , but they are the same cars http://www.cardomain.com/profile/blackfbird_98

jesus they are the same thing... any differences are negligible. I have seen stock ls1 cars run 13.2s, and seen them run 14.5s driver, track, wind, whatever.... is different.
Its like saying a dirty car is slower then a clean car because the dirt causes more wind resistance, may look good on paper, but in the real world doesn't really matter.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251
