i'm up a 5 am and at work at 6:30 am. usually 10 mins early so 6:20 am. out of work at 3 pm. you will get use to it. and then you get out early and have the whole day to play.
I have to be up at around 6:45AM for school, but starting next week I won't have to be till 8AM at the earliest for work. I'm DEFINITELY not a morning person so it works out good for me
I got up at 5:15 yesterday
got to work around 6:15am to 6:30am
and worked until 8pm
and doing it again today
no life
big paycheck... no life
work saturday till noon then I am FREE until monday
I make my own hours... but shift I prefer is usually 5am to 2 or 3pm...
-I have adjusted to wake up early.(too awhile, I went a whole semester working nights and my earliest class was 2pm, I rarely woke up before 1, and never before noon.
-Its a 9-10 hour shift, so I get hours in, but I still have part of the day left being done at like 2pm
-my girlfriend's schedule is usually waking up like 7am work or classes.(she works at an armoured car droppoff center)
Its not bad once you get in teh schedule. But I do have the option to wake up and say to myself "**** it" I don't have to work today if I don't want to, and just sleep in. I don't get in troube but I don't get paid.

Wow, such complainers Imagine having to work a 1am to 6am, or 12am to 5am, then heading off to school from 7am-3pm. Then having to sleep from 4pm to 12am or 11pm. Yah, night crew SUCKS!! But, working it for a couple of months did help me get promoted and now I make $18/hr plus time and a half on Sundays and Triple Time on Holidays....

I worked 11pm to 7am (night auditior at hotel) when I was in college the classes from 8am to about 3/4pm, sleep for 3 hours back to hotel. Talking about no life!
Now I am a landman in oil & gas and make my own schedule. Very nice, I usually set alarm at 7am hit sleep button till 8 or 8:30, type up lease/right-of-ways for a few hours while still in my boxers, the get in shower around 10-12, then go negotiate with landowners for the rest of the day. I like it.

That would drive me nuts only working for like 6 hours, in th middle of the night. I hate short shifts.
I'd rather work 3-4 days and get 35-40 hours in.

I start work at 6am also. It's really not too bad, after you get used to it I actually like it better. I work 10's so it's waaaay better getting off at 4 then starting at 8 or something and getting of at 7.
