Well on the 3rd I was in the movie theaters and came out at midnight and found a note from the PD stating someone has backed in to my car (which was out in BFE) so I called and the guy who hit it called it in and told me I dont need to fill out the paperwork since it was only about $500 in damage so I got a quote and it is atleast $1500 here are some pics

That sucks. Is it me or is the hood not lined up? One good thing, though, is that they called it in. That was "nice" of them to admit their guilt. Around here people couldn't give a rat's a$$. My cars have been hit pretty good twice and people have just left. Ironic thing is... both times it happened in the teacher's lot at work. Nice co-workers I have. I would love to have done this if I caught them.

I didnt get any pics from far away but the major damage was it spidered the bumper which you cant see in the pics and costs the most to fix plus they are going to strip the hood fix it, sand it down and then repaint the whole hood since it was a little darker black

Yeah, people can be major *******s. Be glad he left a note. The 2nd week I owned my bird someone ran their truck into my bumper as they were either pulling out or turning in to park while I was in the office. Pissed me off too, cuz I knew who did it cuz theres only one green truck in the parking lot. I regret not doing anything about it. The paint from his truck rubbed off, but theres still a little scuff.

I have several scuff and scrape marks on my back bumper from people rubbing it while parallel parked for the 3 years I worked on main campus. I worked in the main registration builoding so people were coming and going constantly and parking illegally I might add. Anyway I never got a single note. But we have plenty of pieces of $#it around here so go figure.

i was gonna ask if he got the fiberglass of the hood..that SUCKS! ..hopefully it just flexed enough to make the paint crack (i assume they would not use flex additive on rigid fiberglass) and didnt crack the hood itself

well it didnt crack the hood but tore a pretty good chunk out of it about the size of a dime, I tried to get them to buy me a new hood but they said they can fix it, so we'll see if it starts cracking they will buy me a new hood, but the hood isnt fiberglass this one is a composite plastic :D
