thats the nature of parking in Philly though. whoa to those cars who thought they could park on the side of the road and leave 5 feet between them and the next car..... at least while I lived there....

I do admit I get annoyed when I see people take up 2 spots...
I either park super close to the line of a handicap "ramp area" up close(they still have plenty of room, don't worry) Or I park on a curb that I am so close I nearly rub my wheels.
And I generally try to put my more damaged side out. Towards where other cars will be.
If their aren't any decent spots open like that(not a crowded place)
I drive far away, I hate following people around and waiting for them to pull out to get a spot, I'd rather park farther away, slightly safer, and just walk an extra 30 yards, I'm fat I don't mind the exercise.

Put me on the list of people who HATE it when people park across 2 spaces. I park far away or next to other nice cars or f-bodies.
Here's how I get around it: Replace the shock sensor on your car alarm with a Perimeter sensor. Anyone parks too close to me, it sets off the "warning" tone of my car alarm. Never got another door ding after I put it in...

I park far away like all of you period and its good exercise to walk to your destination. Lately these days I do see newer vans with the slide out doors, such as the Caravan, open up and kids jump out like idiots. That great innovation has resulted in less door dings on my left rear panels but what about the front panels is my observation. I keep a steady eye on people who suddenly park next to me and give them a stare to see if they open their door carelessly and make a dent, I used to make $20 a ding for profit before I threaten to share insurance info. Only works 50% of the time once you leave the car but yes, I double park far away now and take vehicle plate # info on my return just in case.

Ill park as far away as i can,no one even close to me and some one always has to park next to me. Ill return to my car and see this car next to me and i know they hit me opening their door. I really dont like to take up 2 spots but sometimes i will. Why do people have to park right next to you when there is a whole empty lot. It reminds me of that Duplicolor commercial!

guy at my movie theatre got his radio stolen when he stopped it in front of the theatre spent 5 min getting his tickets.
never even parked it.
My theatre hires 4 deputies, and roughly 20 deputies throughout the outdoor mall on average.
easily 300 people within 40 yards of the car.
just an FYI

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
