• Moving From Baltimore, MD to San Antonio, TX. Just one Bugger.......

It is Blue, and says "Firebird" on the Side!

In about 2-3 Weeks, I am moving from Baltimore To San Antonio! I am moving with my girlfriend (who is alreday down there now, with our aprartment and a job) and I'm fairly positive I have one too.

The Big Question is, "How the Mighty F*** am I going to get there?" My GF didn't have a car, so I got her on a plane last night. I have too much junk for a plane, Amtrak Auto train only goes from VA to FL, U-Haul is over $1600 (including toe), and Alamo, I have to be 21 and I just turned 20.

    :(

Right now, it seems that driving the 1778 miles is the only option. Any other Ideas guys and girls? If I sell the car here, I should be able to take a train.

Just drive your car. Why would that be a big deal?? It's not like your going to drive back and forth every weekend. That way you get to keep your car and you don't go broke moving!

Bring the car on down. I bought mine knowing that I was moving down here. Open roads, some nice twisty back roads in the hill country, nice drag strip nearby, no snow, better mileage than a truck.

If you lower the rear seatback, you can fit a heck of a lot of stuff in the car. Much more than I thought, anyway.
                          \'00 f-bird 3.8 M5 coupe, pewter metallic
Torsen LSD, Pro 5.0 shifter, Spec stage 1 clutch, Y87 muffler, aftermarket stereo
-more fun than the Oldsmobile it replaced...
