Why are relationship threads

Almost always locked? Just curious.

From my last 3 years experience on this site, I would guess the average age for this site is <20. So that means there are a gonna be people needing advice on how to deal with girl problems due to lack of experience.

I know I've had my share of girl problems in the past, and I've posted about most, if not all of them here, but they were never locked.

Quoting the sticky at the top of the page:

It is a place for discussion among community members about life, politics, taxes, school, work, other hobbies, current events, relationships, etc.

As long as it's a mature, intelligent post, I don't see whats wrong with it.
