Towards the beginning of next year, i'm going to buy a new car. ~30-35k probably. I've been looking into G35's as of right now. What do you think of them?

heh I prefer the g35 more....
They aren't demons in a straight line and expensive/hard to mod from what I understand. But they are still not a slouch.
But then again might not be the aim you are looking for because they are just a bad *** all around car. I'd get a a GTO or used cobra and save money, but I wouldn't kick a G35 out of my driveway ;)-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

I like the G35, think it looks a little better than the Z. For almost the same performance, it will cost a hell of a lot less to insure too, since it has back seats.Drivetrain Moderator - "There are no stupid questions, only stupid people!"

I just test drove a 350Z yesterday, touring edition. 37K for an '05 and 32K for a left over '04. It was, ehhhh. I didn't like the clutch feel or the shift. So the guy took me back and wanted me to try a G35 because he claimed reguardless of the same engine the shift and clutch feel much better. But they didn't have any 6 spd's on the lot and I don't want an auto. He is calling me later this week when it comes in and I'll let you know how it went. But I did look a lot into the G35 while I was there and personally, I think it is better. Better interior, service, warranty, quality, and looks just as good if not better with the aero package, all at the same price. Oh, it's more practical too.05 GTO
97 W68
<a href=\"http://dpo.rpai

I would prefer a G35 over a 350Z. 2 extra seats, better interior appointments, and overall "pimp factor." Still couldn't fault you for buying either one though *SOLD 9/4/05*
1998 Navy Blue Metallic Camaro M5
-Flowmaster cat back
-Accel Ignition
-K&N Air Filter
-Hurst Shift Knob

Currently vehicle-less at Ohio State :(
