I have a half-inch scratch on the nose of my hawk due to a stray cat. Took it to a body shop, it cannot be buffed out. I'd kick the lil bugger's head off if I saw it try that crap again.
And how did I know it was a cat, let's just say, they aren't good at hiding their prints!
Good thing I don't go to the person's house who had them by their house. One less stress issue off of my shoulders.
Cats are the ****. Much smarter than dogs. You lock that thing in a garage and try scaring them like that, it won't work. Dogs are stupid, to they react to that crap, unlike a cat, which will realize what you are trying to do in the first place.
<-----also a cat supporter.

Ha ha, I just got this, thought it might help your out. The cat will stay away from you and your car:
1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.
2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.
3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on the lid.
4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.
5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power-wash" and rinse".
6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.
7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.
8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he will dry himself off.
9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.

cats suck. they kill mindlessly and are uncontained, eventually they will spread and become an annoyance and there will be associations all over the place collecting them for the chinese restaurants.. they are so damn annoying, they "sing" their damn songs.... just wanna unload a buckshot sometimes.... i find dead baby bunnies half gnawed all over the place, cats are no good, if you have one KEEP IT ****ING INSIDE.
cat rights person: "oh but thats cruelty! you cant keep a cat locked up!"
cruelty is the cats killing off the REAL natural animals and ****ting all over the place "Oh but they cover it up!" yea in your kids sandbox.
im not going to go spend more money so that my car can sleep on a nice fuzzy warm car cover. the cat will learn one way or another... i have an electric fence charger laying around, going to hook it up to some chicken wire and let him step on that... doubt he will enjoy it... maybe ill have him declawed, or bettter yet ill relocate him to the neighbors property.... thatll give him a REASON to kill, in order to survive like the rest of the animals... then the coyotes, foxes, hawks and mountain lions can "play" with him...
oh and if i trap my cat in the garage with me and my bird, ther is NO doubt that he will **** all over himself when i rev up my engine equipped with an SLP loudmouth... you know how every one says its loud and nasty up top? well thats true and seeing as cats and dogs have REALLY good sense of hearing, well lets just say that hes not going to be calm about it.... being in the garage amplifies the sound of my exhaust at least 40%.... it even hurts my ears so well let mr kitty decide if he likes my car anymore after this...
