• Dating a gril with a kid??? advice?

    hello

Well since my ex and i broke up of course im looking.

just after we broke up a freind from HS returnd my email from classmates web site.

Since then we have been talking alot and she was engauged then her BF found out about the kid and tossed her out

anyway i have liked this girl since the 6th grade, in 10th grade i had a chance and never made the move and let it slip away cuase i was shy... :twack: she dropped the bomb and asked me why i never made move way back when lol

Any way we have been talking for a few weeks and i think i would really like to give it a try and see what happens.

    What do you guys think?

I'd say go for it. How old is her kid? boy or girl? I sometimes regret not asking out this girl I liked from the 6th all throughout HS. I always had this "what if" in the back of my head. I'm married now with a woman I really love but I still wonder about that girl that could have been. Oh well :sigh:

She was already engaged before her boyfriend found out that she had a child!?

              That's strange.

I dated girls that have had children before and if you really like the girl there is always a way to find a comfortable spot that includes both her and her child.

              Good luck my friend!

                20 with a kid?

GENERALLY (again, generally) single parents with a kid are looking for a husband/wife. They're dating, but at the same time running through the back of their mind is "Can I bring xx home to my child?" Ask yourself, are you ready to step into that role immediately? If not don't even look her way.

Why not give it a try? Yes if it progresses the kid will become an issue. But remember you are talking about dating not marrying this girl. All that comes down the road if things work out. They may they may not but now is not the time to be planning your wedding. Just go with the flow and see what happens. After an hour alone with this chick you may never want to lay eyes on her again, or it could go the complete other direction, but at least you'll know. Don't be planning too far ahead.

Personally, I'd never date a GRIL.

But a girl with a kid? Think about it this way.. You'll ALWAYS have to deal with the kids father and there will always probably be some tension there. Lots of baggage if you ask me.

                      Tough call.

When I was younger I dated a girl w/ a child, at the time I was not mature enough for it.

Now that I am older it is something I could probably do now.

                      Are YOU ready?

You MUST be upfront with her!

I personally avoid dating pregnant women like the plague.

If things got serious and you started talking about marriage you'd have to deal with the fact that your going to have a child that isn't really yours.

I met my ,now, wife when she had an 8yr old. I now have a 14yr old step-son. You always know that they are not "yours" but after time it doesn't really seem to matter.

It boils down to how mature are you to take that responsibility because if you two become serious and while that baby grows, that baby is going to see you as a father figure. If you two split up down the road, the kid will be affected from the break up.
