Age gap with dating...?

What is the legal age of consent in your state? I say hey, if she is willing to give it up.... I dont see anything illegal about it as long as the age of consent is 15 in your state. As far as matuity goes, well at that age, I was doing the same thing. and yes I definately was not mature. But when I became a daddy at 19, I matured real quick.

I have a major problem with people in their 20s dating girls younger then 17. There may be some exceptions but for the most part its just abunch of guys that can't get any from anywhere else and want to take advantage of younger girls, or they never actually grew up and the only people they can relate too still ride the yellow bus to school.

I don't date anymore. Not worth my time or money. They always seem to think that it is better with their Ex's than me.....

I am 23. If I did date, I wouldn't date anyone younger than 18. But older.....I have dated women that were 35+ in age, and honestly, best sex ever. They know what they are doing.

i'm a junior in high school (16) and my girlfriend is a sophomore (16). no problems here. i've only dated older. she's the youngest i've been with.

a freshmen last year (14 at the time), was dating/sleeping with a 29-year-old priest. um... yeah... she got hepatitis B and he left the state.

Personally, I try to keep em within a few years, especially legal. I'm 20 and wont date anyone younger than 18, but I wouldnt have a problem dating a woman a few years older than me (maybe 25 tops). When the gap gets much more than that, it just seems like theres such a maturity difference.
Heck, when I was a freshman in college, I dated a chick who was a senior in high school still. With just that year difference, I could tell a huge maturity conflict between her and myself because of college and high school. I think people should stick to their social area, ie-college kids/graduate HS people date, high school kids date, etc. But of course there always are exceptions, like the couple board members we've already seen.
You're friend should be really careful if he's screwin a girl that young; her dad sounds like he doesnt like it, and aren't parents the ones who can make the decision for pressing statutory rape charges? There was this couple at my church though, the guy was 42 and girl was 16!!! They got married at him 44 yrs and her at 18yrs old!! That just disgusted me, they also were divorced within 6 months.
