So ya my car got hit last night too...i was at my buddies house playin Call of Duty on 360 and all of a sudden my buddy gets a phone call from his mom sayin that she had just backed into my car...she claims to have looked for my other 2 friends car but somehow missed the big silver shiney car...wtf...all she had to say about it was "sorry dude"...i asked her when she was gonna fix it...she goes "i have to fix it?"...thats when i lost it...i screamed at her...its like if i had backed into her car then right thing would b to pay for the damage...like 2 weeks ago when i let 1 of my friends take my car home...he blew my rear tire out on I-95S...he fixed it and then gave me money cuz i was out of a car for a week...wtf stupid ***** says she isnt gonna pay for it...now im gonna absolutey key her car cuz her son (my friend) told me to get back at her...well that was my nice thursday night in a nut shell

Sorry to hear about that man, but don't key her car. Get her info from your friend and go through your insurance company.

Call your insurance company and file a claim. Explain the incident. You will need her license plate number and insurance carrier. They should take care of the rest.

I actually don't know if you can or not without a police report, and it's too late for that.

That's funny that someone's kid told you to key their parent's car, though... I'd beat someone if they keyed my parents' cars, but he's encouraging it...

o i know...i was taken back when he told me to do that but then i relized how much he hated hit mom cuz of all the **** shes put the family threw (divorced twice) and kickin people out of a house that isnt hers anymore lol...but ya what can i do since there isnt a police report?

You definetly can without a police report. If the other person denies the claim (which she might), then things get a little stickier.

Get a police report made ASAP and don't take any **** from this person. I made that mistake in High School when one of my "friends" hit my Camaro, said she knew it was her fault, and then later said she wasn't going to pay for any damage after we had both left the scene. I had to get a police report made out along with writing a threatening letter that I would take her to court. She finally paid "most" of it, but not the full amount. Just enough to make me say to myself.. it's enough to not have to go court. Anyway, get the police report and write a letter to her stating the incident, the damage, and at least 2 estimates. State that she will need to re-imburse you on the damage so that you may get the car repaired, otherwise legal action will be taken against her. Goodluck.
