not sure yet
I am very much a dog person, but last week I worked 6 days 60+ hours. I don't have the time to give a dog the attention they crave. A cat, from what I understand, doesn't mind being left alone. They are ddecently cute (dogs are better) I don't like the idea of a litter box, but one of my friends said just keep it in the bathroom and flush the kitty poopies everytime you use the bathroom and it isn't that bad.
The reason I am looking to have an animal is I just moved out a couple months ago (from mom's house) and now I live by myself (no roommates or significant other) I have friends for the weekends, but when I am home from work at night it gets pretty darned quiet and lonely during the week. I also moved hour and a half away from my group of friends and 3 hrs from my college buddies, so the only time I can see people I know is on the weekends.
My concern is how high maintenance a cat will be. I def want a fixed one because I dont want the thing sprayin crap around my house. I want one that doesn't shed alot. And I prefer a smaller one. Is it possible to meet those requirements with a cat? or should I just go buy some porn?
Gotta do some research I guess, but any cat owners please post any bad things that I need to watch out for
thanks
