    For those of you whom no longer live @ home...

    Did you find that at first you were really anal about everything .......... like there were never dishes in the sink, the garbage was always taken out, the tables were always wiped off, you never left the lights on, everything was always spotless.......

    BUT NOW you're not?

    Like me for example, my fiance and I have a 2 story townhouse, and it looks like a bomb was set off in each room.....clothes everywhere, dirty dishes (so many that when i loaded the dishwasher there was no more room for glasses), mail all over the place, cat toys everywhere, the slipcovers are all disheveled, towels all over the bathroom floor along with his boxers, toiletries all over the bathroom counter, the stove is filthy.....

    what the heck happenned?!!?!?!?!??!?

      yeah same happened. you just realize your parents priorities are not yours at this time... give it time and eventually you will go back to being that way. [img]smile.gif[/img]

        Nah i still go on cleaning sprees once a week. My room is the one exeption ;)

          I've been in my own two-story townhouse for a couple months now and I'm no more anal than I was the first week. I tend to pick up a little at a time, so it's always a mess. I still sorta feel like I'm moving in.

            The first day I moved out I had a party every night for the first 9 days... that's a good way to break yourself in.

            New apt. is pretty clean, but I just moved in.

              my apt. is pretty clean. occasional dishes in the sink, but nothin much.

                my house is always clean we just make sure we pick up after ourselves....i dont like a dirty house just makes me not want to come home

                    Same here, every weekend I clean up.. but I don't let my place get that messy during the week either [img]smile.gif[/img] I just leave dishes in the sink on fri-sat because I'm generally drunk and don't care :D

                      When I was married before my X-wife NEVER kept a clean house AT ALL. :mad: I hated it! I was at work and she would be at home all day with the kids ( 2 ) and she would NEVER make an attempt to clean up.

                      Wife #2 is a pretty good house keeper ( I help as well ) but we have our lazy days.

                      Just wait till you have kid(s). [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] There will be days that you just kick your way though the living room. [img]graemlins/love.gif[/img]
