• I am contemplating killing my friends

Not seriously, but the thought has crossed my mind. For some god-forsaken reason, most of the kids i hang out with are ricers. i am one out of two kids in our group who have a Camaro. the rest are all Honda Civics or CRX's. these guys constantly talk about everything they're gonna get done to their cars, turbos, stroker kits, intake/exhaust, everything. they swear they're gonna run in the 9's once they're done. on top of that, they don't know much about any other cars. I nearly got in a fight tonight because of this. here's what happened:

Incident # 1 - We were all talking, just hangin out, when one ricer mentions a V12 dodge Viper. i told him there was no such thing, all vipers are V10s. the only way a V12 would be in there is if someone did a totally custom job. He proceeded to argue with me, even trying to call up a friend who worked at a Dodge dealership to ask him about it. His friend didn't pick up, so the argument pretty much died down.

Incident # 2 - this was the big one. i don't even know how it started, but it escalated pretty quickly. Same kid is talking $hit, starts running his mouth off about how he's gonna run my car at the track once he "gets it all done." i tell him i'll whup him, which sets him off. he says "there are CRX's running 9's, how many v6 camaros run that fast?" i told him "those CRX's are in the Pro classes, #1, and there are a few V6 camaro/firebirds running in the 10s." he kept yelling, then went on to call me a "jackass who doesn't know $hit." Now, i would have beat him to a pulp by now, problem is, he's only 17 and i'm 20 (yeah i know, our group has a pretty big range, oldest kid is like 21 i think). i would get hauled off to jail after tearing him a new one. it just pissed me off so much, these morons with their weedwhackers running high 16's into the 17s, telling me how their going to run 9's! fuc|<in ridiculous. it would help if I had more mods done to my car, so i could really show them up, but i don't have the money right now....   dammit i'm so angry right now!

ehh i guess you had to be there...i'm not really going into much detail. by the time the 2nd argument came about, you could have cut the tension with a knife.

and the whole time, i'm trying to help one of their group...kid with a Prelude was havin problems with it bogging in 1st and 2nd gear. I'm helpin the kid out, and i got this idiot yakking away about his POS honda.

Yeah, same here. All of my friends have Mustangs or Camaros, yet they don't do any performance upgrades. Just appearance, which is fine by me. Just means I'll kick their *** when we race .

Where? I know some V6 GN's that are..but where are these? I think you're over-hyping and being too brand loyal. You're playing the same game that your friends are playin.

I have respect for a very fast import as long as it's not a complete tincan. Anyways...

If you get worked up over this, join an FBody club so you feel more at home. Don't go preaching numbers that you don't know, though.

Lol nothin wrong with import cars. It isn't THAT hard to get a CRX running 10s. Doubt those guys will but its not uncommon.

There are several imports I would be thrilled to drive (RSX-S being one of them) but not more than a V8 Camaro. Don't listen to the morons that run 17s, just show them your timeslip (I saw your time in the sig) and ask what they ran.

RICER: V6 Camaros are slow, CRX's can run 9's. I'm gonna do so much to it and beat your a$$!!

YOU: Here's my timeslip, I ran 15.4, what did you run last?

                      RICER: Umm, 16.9 @ 80

YOU: Unless you can back it up NOW, then shut up.

These damned ricers talk and talk about what they're going to do to their cars and how fast they will be, but can't back up any of their sh** talk with what their cars do now.

exactly. I love it how people say, "one day i will get all my stuff done and kick ur ***".

Its ****ing stupid becuase 1) they got no money 2) It will still look/sound like **** 3) Noone really gives a a **** because they all know it aint gonna happen.

I aint gonna go say our cars are the fastest in the world but i just say "Your gonna have to put a grand into ur cars just to make it as fast as mine is stock..."

I hate people who talk **** and it makes them look like an idiot. but there is that old quote:

"Never argue with a fool, people might not be able to tell the diffrence"

Good luck and tell them to step up or stfu
