 Mother f*ckers can suck my ***. On top of being retards (see my other thread about them doing my tires, they also got tire glue ALL OVER my freakin rims). I changed my brakes today, and they torqued the lugs down on the wheels so hard my impact wouldn't even begin to take them off. I had to stand on a 3' breaker bar to budge them loose. I almost broke my locking lug key trying to get them off.

I'm gonna call them up Monday and give them hell.

Edit: Oh yea, one more thing. They did their *free saftey inspection* and wanted us to replace the front rotors. The funny thing is, the front rotors were almost perfect, minus the fact they were warped and needed to be turned. But the back rotors however has A LOT of heat cracks in them. Like to the point that it was kind of scary. They were pretty much covered in heat cracks.

I'm gonna detail the car tomorrow. It comes off if you scratch it with your fingernail, so I would imagine it would come off with a tire brush.

I always worry about taking my car anywhere, I really just don't trust the people. If i must go somewhere, i usually try to go to my friends dad's shop.

Yea, I hate when people work on my car. But I really don't have a choice with tires. I don't have any way to mount them.

I may be a bit neurotic when it comes to my toys.

I take my torque wrench, sockets and extensions along when a place mounts and balances tires for me and either make them hand torque them (100 ft. lbs.) or I do it myself.

No one is putting a airgun on my wheels.

Yeah, I was gonna say that you don't have much choice when it comes to tires, so you'd expect to be able to trust them.

try walmart. i worked there and they were super anal about torqueing things properly. if anything, just take the wheels to them to have mounted and put them on yourself at home.

also, i dont know what the hell they are using but it should only be soap that they use to put on the tires.

Whatever its called, its white **** all over my rim and tire.

I'm seriously gonna give the store manager an earful tomorrow. I mean, how ****en hard is it to put on a damn tire. This wasn't just one lug nut either, it was all of them... on all 4 tires...

You can't blame just goodyear. They ALL do that. Even when you ask them to torque them they never do. If I can, I usually just bring the tires in and put them on at home.

free safety inspection - LOL. NOTHING is free. They all try to sell you crap you don't need.

I can't blame them? If I broke the locking lug key, I would have had to have all the lugs on all 4 tires that had the locking nut on it drilled out and replaced. All because they had some dumbass that got trigger happy with the airgun.

I called the store manager and he basically told me that the lugs couldn't have been overtorqued. Their guns are only set for 125 ft/lbs.

you should have told him that anything past 100ft lbs is over torqued.
