In my opinion...the Agusta is a very reliable bike. I've had the opportunity to ride an Agusta 750 S on the track at Sears Point. Those things have the power and the manuverability to totally rise to the top of the competition...depending on the rider. Myself (by no means) am a pro racer, but for someone with average skill, it performes like a Ferrari. Plenty of power on out of the corners, and into the straights....and as for handeling...GEESH!!! The rear tire broke a few times coming out of the corners, but it was in no way uncontrollable.
My biggest argument with people saying "I should buy a 1000 or a liter bike so I can be FAST...totally isn't true. If you look at track times, the 600-750 class is actually making BETTER times than the larger bikes such as the R1, GSXR 1000, ZX-10, 1000RR, and most liter bikes. That to me just means that when someone wants a larger cc bike for the street, they're just wanting to do "power wheelies" and go fast in a straight line. When you can do just as good on a smaller bike that's lighter, more manuverable, and if you know what you're doing....just about any stunt you can think of.

Like I said...I'm just being stupid and giving my opinion. I already know I'm gonna get flamed for saying a 600-750 is just as good as a larger bike, but sometimes the truth hurts. By the way..I ride a 2003 600RR and I have no problems keeping up with friends on their SVS 1000's, Busas, R1's etc......actually, I'm always waiting for them..... ;)

No, you wont get flamed because you are absolutley right. The only reason I said I want an R1 over my R6, is because im not afraid of my R6. I can beat the hell on that throttle, and not worry about flippin myself off or anything. You gotta keep it up in the higher RPMs for any real power. But if I had an R1, then I could do power wheelies and such without havin to work the damn clutch! Hehe, get my drift now? I want to be afraid to romp on the throttle... :D

"liter" bikes......just a reccomendation, try the SVS 1000 before you get a TL. A good friend of mine had a TL and sorta liked it, ended up getting a new SVS 1000 and he's in LOVE!!! That bike sounds so freakin' awesome with Twin Brothers cans!!! and the power.....WOW!!

</font>
You got it!
I've also heard they're better for taller riders because the wind comes up the screen on a sport bike and chops your damn head off.

I'm used to riding with just handle bars and no screen On a quad you just hold on for dear life lol
