I think Ducati's are kinda overrated, they are one of the best lookin bikes out there, but they are not even close to being the fastest.
It is fast, yes, in a straight line...
If it has to turn, that is a whole different story
I bet an R1 would beat it on a road course..
and a Duc would murder it.. </font>
Read up on the Busa man, its not as bad in the twisties as you think. It just requires more skill and grace than an R1 takes...

yeah... but to be honest with you.... There are some other movers coming up the ranks with AMA and Superbike. Caught some clips from last weeks racing on 2wheel tuesday... some of the best endings I've seen yet. Guys going back and forth for 1st place through each twisty It's like playing leap frog but at over 100MPH

And the R6 is much more comfortable than youd think. Of course yours is much better im sure, but I think you could handle it... :D
Right.. too busy to get 4 screws out and remove those fugly things
And I've riden an R6... It's nice, very flickable and got the power to move... but only with a Corbin would my butt be ok with it :D </font>
Hey, what can I say, I devote all my time to riding, not tinkering with reflectors... :D
Seriously though, my bike is stored at a friends house now, since my father has took over the garage with his project cars. So only time I see my bike, is when im about to take it out. :(

I honestly don't know how they don't crash every damn time, the thing is just skating all around like it has a mind of its own going into the turn, then they just about fishtail the bike coming out of the turn most of the time... its insane!
It would be awesome to go on a ride on the back of one like that.. but the extra weight transfer would mess them up Maybe we should start a new amusement park... hehehe
Just have to make sure we sell adult diapers before they get on the rides
btw - 2wheel tuesday = AWESOME
I love that show...

Wouldnt you rather ride the bike yourself???
As far as the *** ends sliding out comming into a corner, that is pretty crazy. Your just sittin there waitin for the bike to lose the rest of its traction and just slide right out underneath them. Ive got a vid of a guy on a hayabusa that just goes shooting up and down the road, and does long arching burnouts as he kicks the *** end out and fishtails doin about 60 mph. Pretty sweet. :D

My dad has riden his whole life... I rode quads and 3-wheelers in the dunes since I was about 2, but my dad doesn't really want me on the street... people just don't have any respect for bikes on the street. They'll look right at you and not even consider you're on a BIKE and not in a 2 ton hunk of metal, then pull out in front of you or nearly side-swipe you...
Maybe when I'm a little older and out of school I will be able to afford a bike to cruise on during the weekend I want to get a quad of my own first to start going back to the coast with my family... those were fun days, camping on the beach and riding all day.
Yamaha has a new 450 that is kicking a** right now... hehe my dad and uncle are both buying one.. but my dad is going to sell his truck (all custom 55 big window chevy, 600hp blown 327) to buy it :(

Well, you just wussed out. Now you'll be missing all the fun just because of one close call. I would have stopped riding 5 years ago if that was the case for me. But... its your decision.
