• Some Bike Modifications

Yea I know, nothing to do with Fbodies, but just seein what you guys think of my bike. Made some improvements I think.

Front Before
Front After

Side Before
Side After

Back Before
Back After

I think the silver rims set it off nice. Bought an integrator kit to eliminate the rear directionals so now each side of the tailight flashes with amber LED's. The pipe set me back a pretty penny, but sounds sweet. So what ya guys think? Thumbs up or down? The front directionals are next. Then, who knows?

Pssst... Teal V6... Check out the front forks. Notice anything missing? Like the reflectors?

Oh yea... I was too cheap to buy stands, so I spent a few bucks on some steel rods and ratchet straps, check it out, haha.

Framesliders... we'll see. I was actually just looking at them right before I read your post and was deciding where to mount them so I dont have to cut the plastic.

That Blue Flame was $475 shipped. The only undertail kits they have for the R6 are 800 bucks, and they look like dog crap. Have you seen them? Pretty bad.

Wheres the liscence plate? Thats what I would like to know. I parked it on main street for Bike Week in Daytona this past week, and some a-hole snapped it off. I came back and it was gone. Prob some greasy drunk Harley jerk 'cause I was the only sportbike in the crowd that day and they were having a good ol time making smart @ss remarks about my g/f on the back by one of the bars. It was on my swing arm off a mount I made for it.

Thanks for the compliment, and if you hadn't noticed, every time you post something about getting rid of your R6, I bust on you. Get another, lol. :D

Do the Before pics work for anyone else? Because they still work for me...

Nice... I like the Blue Flame high mount! I did notice you pulled the reflectors and that looks SO much better on those forks

Now... let's talk about frame slides and stands.... Albeit I do like the bike floating... but stands would be safer. Sliders will save your butt if one of those NY drivers doesn't see you and you go down. It's cheap insurance to new body panels.

Looking forward to riding soon?? I know I am!! :D

I know I saw numerous sliders that you didnt have to cut any plastics, search around or goto r6-forum.com which Im sure you already know about, but in case you didnt know you got it now. LUCKY BASTAR*

As far as Im concerned, a custom paint job on a bike says youre not riding the bike like it wants to be ridden. Or it says you have lots of money to waste. My final take, no sliders no tang.

it's a stock paint job. He just made some personalization stuff to make it his bike.

Now, if I find out he's not riding it hard (which I doubt) I'll have to go get that bike from him and leave him with mine

Thanks Teal, someone knows whats up... :-P And I do have lots of money to waste on my bike, I been saving for a damn long time. And if you don't think im a hard rider, you should see my old bike. :-P

Wanna trade bikes for a bit Teal? Lets hit up some twisties, Ill bet theyre pretty close in handling and such. :D

Oh, and, maybe I've been riding the bike precisley how it should be ridden, and thats why there are no scars on it and I can have a nice paint job, ever think of it that way Corey? Heh. :D

You probably are riding it like it should be. I just have extreme bike envy. All i can afford is a crappy katana which I have already dented and messed up in the 4 months I have had it.

Hey, a bikes a bike. At least its a sport bike and you are out riding. Its something to ride while you save up. I been saving a damn long time to just buy this R6 outright, and have been riding an old Ninja for the past 5 years.

We are talking about Deal's Gap in July.... you up for it?

If it's a Yammie.... I usually know about it. I already know my next long term bike is..... the FJR1300 That's sexy for what it is.

Where were those pics taken? Not Lake Ontario, right? Nice bike nonetheless, would love to have one for the summer here.
