input needed. i found a running 79 z28 black w/ t-tops, 350 . body in decent condition, 3 minor dings (only!!!) trunk wont close, interior is worn out but can be redone. engine clean and strong, A4, 174k, or 74k miles???

check the rearqtrs & rockers for rust. Get a magnet w/felt covering so it wont scratch the paint & run it along the body. bondo queens sux, no matter how pretty they look.

i have a 78 camaro that i'm the original owner of...get it, trust me you'll love it. As far as camaros go, that is one of the "most rare" body styles. Definitely can't go wrong for $1,000!!!

ok i have been doing a lot of searching around the net and im not so sure anymore... there are several in good condition for under6k out there and the $ to restore it would be quite a bit....

Are you looking to restore it, or have it as a daily/weekend driver? IF the body is straight, interior is cake. You say the engine/tranny is good. Have it brought to a mechanic for a checkup. If it's good, deduct the price of it from the cost of the car. SOunds too good to be true, but it does happen every now & then.
looking to do 100% restoration, my 97 is the daily driver. thinking of walking over there with 500 cash and take it or leave it.
