  • You guys might appreciate this..

Just brought the 96 Camaro V6 up over the 200k mark.

My goal was to get the car up past 200k, with that done I'm selling her. She's now on eBay. :(

Is the car that crapped out that it must be sold, or do you crave another car payment? Drive the car untill it's no longer economicly/saftely viable.

I'll just respond to everyone in a disorganized fashion here..

I bought the car at 172,000 miles about a year ago. Yes, I do drive a lot.

Major things that have gone wrong: Alternator. Advanced Auto alternators are crap. Idler pulley is going I think, power steering has gone to the point where it only has power steering when the engine is above idle.

JUST TODAY she started to stumble a bit during acceleration, I'm 90% the injectors are stock and just need to be replaced due to wear. 200,000 miles on stock GM fuel injectors isn't bad, I don't think.

She was hit twice in one month by two separate Honda Accords, the second hit is the reason I'm selling the car. Body work is too expensive, and I don't have the skills to fix it myself.
